Postflood Day 3: Tent cleaning

Today, everyone in camp worked on tent cleaning. Of the 15 tents in camp, all but three of them were flooded, which means they were now covered inside and out in a thick layer of Talek River mud. Inside of the tents, all the furniture had to be cleaned and wiped down as well, or they would soon begin to rot.

We recovered the brand new tent, which had floated down the driveway and out into the Mara during the flood, and set it up in the sun for cleaning, drying, and inspection.
